Winter 2013, Keeping Cozy!
My New Renaissance and Festival Wear Collection
I will have a booth at Sherwood’s 60th annual Robin Hood Festival. July 19th and 20th. This year’s parade theme is “Hats Off to Robin Hood!” I am having some fun designing some fun period costumes and festival wear.
Refashioned Skirts … one in denim …the other in wool
Grey Felted Fingerless Texting Gloves with Red Rose
I’m posting several new pairs of my felted fingerless gloves on my Etsy site. I know it is July 1 but it is a cold and over cast day! Perfect for a day of sewing!
Fall is here!
This has been an amazing fall. Beautiful colors and the opportunity to join some friends on a weekly hike throughout Portland’s parks and neighborhoods. With the season, my creative projects have been transforming also. I am having so much fun with felted wool. Slippers, purses, hats and fingerless gloves. I just wore a pair of the gloves on this morning’s hike and they were terrific.
These items are “upcycled” from old discarded sweaters. After wet felting, I am refashioning them into new accessories for your enjoyment.
I have more things posted on my Etsy account. I will be taking special orders until December 1 for your holiday gift giving needs.
